The billiard tables

From the very beginning of the Club and its opening by Lady Harland in 1894 Billiards has been one of the core recreational activities of NBWMC. Today there are two superb, and full sized, Billiards tables in the Billiards room (which is shared with Carr’s Glen Boxing Club…though not at the same time). Billiards is not to be confused with pool for which there is a small table in the North United room located off the Pavilion Bar overlooking the Bowling Green. These two magnificent tables are shown in the photograph above and the tally board below as well as the Pavilion Bar snooker table.

Sadly Billiards and snooker are less popular but the Club has a vibrant Darts Club. Consider joining it and enjoy all our facilities. Membership is the cheapest and best vale in Belfast…it costs just under two pints of carlsberg, probably the best value in the western world.
